Amplify your voice to drive real change. Join our media initiative designed to empower Burundian youth to craft powerful narratives, highlight community resilience, and shape a more inclusive future.
Young creatives in Burundi looking to professionalize their talents in arts, digital media, or cultural storytelling.
No. Thanks to our generous partners and donors, this program is completely free for selected participants.
Not at all. We are looking for passion and potential. A simple showcase of your ideas, sketches, or past hobby projects is enough.

We believe that art and media have the profound power to change society. However, young Burundians often lack the platforms and technical training to share their unique perspectives with the world.
Our Social Impact Through Storytelling program empowers youth to become positive agents of change by funding and facilitating cultural initiatives, short films, photography series, and digital media projects. We don’t just teach you how to operate a camera; we teach you how to craft narratives that highlight local resilience, advocate for inclusive economic growth, and inspire the next generation.
Must be a Burundian youth aged 16–30.
A strong interest in social issues, community development, and media.
Willingness to work collaboratively in production teams.
Note: Owning professional camera gear is NOT required. Isanamu Yawe provides access to necessary production equipment.
Must be a Burundian youth aged 16–30 (Adjust age as needed).
A demonstrated passion for arts, media, or creative expression.
Commitment to attending all mentorship sessions and workshops.
A basic portfolio, sketchpad, or sample of past creative ideas (professional polish is not required; we are looking for raw potential).
